During the holiday season sales of that most storied of luxury foods, caviar, surge worldwide. The most sought-after caviar, Beluga, comes from the roe of sturgeon found in the Caspian Sea, along the Russian/Iranian border.  But a recent international ban on Caspian and Black Sea caviar means other sources of those dark, shiny fish eggs will have to fill the holiday void.  On this New Years Day installment of Edible Idaho, correspondent Guy Hand explores an Idaho connection to caviar.  And finds a little local vodka along the way.
